The Penobscot Bay YMCA is a core community asset. We provide a set of services that ranges from child care to swim
lessons to senior outreach programs. These programs help the children, parents, adults, and seniors in our
community lead more healthy lives and promote the fundamental values of healthy living and community service.

We make these programs available to all through our Membership for All (MFA) payment options. Under MFA the Y
gives away over $220,000 in financial assistance to people in our community who do not have the financial resources
to afford dues and program fees on their own.

We also provide three-month subsidy memberships to the unemployed and free memberships to those on active
military duty. Other free and subsidized programs include Learn to Swim, LIVESTRONG adult cancer survivors,
Healthy Seniors, Youth Basketball, Teen Center after school programs, and the largest child care program in Knox

We strive continuously to reach out to our community in new ways. In the past year we opened a new branch in
Rockland to make it easier for residents of southern Knox County to take advantage of our wide range of programs.
We partner with other non-profit organizations and government agencies to leverage our capabilities so that we can
deliver our services in the most financially efficient ways.

Give today for a better community.
